FOLSOM, Calif. – Junior Maria McDougall, sophomore Sandra Wallace and senior Sophia Troppmann each picked up singles victories, but St. Francis lost the remaining three singles courts plus all three doubles matches in falling to Oak Ridge, 6-3, in a Sierra Foothill League girls' tennis dual at Broadstone Sports Club.

The Troubadours slip to 4-3 overall and even their league record to 3-3. The Trojans remain unbeaten at 11-0 for the year, 6-0 in SFL play.

All three SF singles wins came in straight sets, although with a variety of margins. McDougall defeated Alexa Osen at No. 1 singles by scores of 6-2, 6-1, with Wallace sweeping Ilayda Koker, 1 and 1. Meanwhile, Troppmann gutted out a 7-6 win in the first set with an 11-9 tiebreaker, but then ran away with a 6-0 win in the second.

The Troubies returns home to their Rollingwood YMCA courts on Thursday for a 4 p.m. dual with Davis.
