Kinnebrew takes over Troubie hoop helm
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Erik Kinnebrew, a former Jessup University student-athlete and veteran coach for the Sacramento chapter of the Girls’ Nike EYBL-member Cal Sparks, will take over as head varsity basketball coach at St. Francis Catholic High School, athletics director Ryan Chisolm announced Monday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis Catholic High School honored seven senior students who have committed to compete in six different collegiate sports during the spring edition of the 2025-26 College Athletics Commitment celebration Thursday morning.
London to represent Troubies at Optimist All-Stars
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Senior Lexi London will represent St. Francis at the Sacramento Breakfast Optimist All-Star Game, held at Sacramento Charter High School Saturday. She will compete for the South team in the girls’ large-school contest at 2 p.m. Tickets support the club’s educational programs for children.
Four Troubies make winter All-SFL first teams
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Seniors Lexi London, Miley Blough, Marissa Ow and Madeline Squaglia each earned spots on the All-Sierra Foothill League first team for their respective sports, as the Sacramento area’s top prep conference rolled out its winter sports awards.
Sac Kings Woman of Impact steps down from SF hoop helm
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis Catholic High School head varsity basketball coach Brittany Woodard was selected as a “Women of Impact” honoree for the Sacramento Kings’ Purple Promise women’s empowerment initiative, and will be recognized during Sunday’s home game against the Chicago Bulls. This recognition comes in the same week that Woodard announced that she is stepping down from her position with the Troubie basketball program.
