SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The No. 2 doubles tandem of Ava Dezham and Nura Fananapazir earned a "double-bagel" win at No. 2 doubles while three Troubadours posted singles victories, but St. Francis dropped its second consecutive 5-4 decision, falling to Folsom at Rollingwood YMCA Tuesday.
Sophomore Maria McDougall and senior Anna Dinh won in split sets at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively. McDougall outlasted Jayani Duggirala, 7-6, 3-6 and 10-7 in the one-game tiebreaker. Dinh traded 6-2 sets with Claire Liu before taking the 10-6 tiebreaker. Sophomore Sarah Ramos-Lasso won her No. 5 singles match in straight sets, dispatching Aahana Singh by scores of 6-2, 6-1.
The Troubies return to action with a home match against Granite Bay on Thursday.
