2018-19 Fall Academic Team Champions 

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis tennis and water polo teams both earned top-five rankings in the Sac-Joaquin Section Academic Team Championships for the Fall of 2018.

The tennis team, coached by Kristi Spector, posted a 3.61 cumulative team grade point average to rank fourth in the section behind only Sierra (3.71), Lathrop (3.70) and Pitman (3.63). Manteca was fifth with a 3.59. The Troubadours finished second in the section in the Division I championships.

Water Polo was listed fifth overall among the section's water polo teams with a 3.373 GPA. St. Mary's posted a 3.652 followed by Beyer (3.50) and Ripon (3.381). Head Coach Heather Moody led her team to a runner-up finish in the Division I Section playoffs.

On campus, the freshman volleyball team led all squads with a 3.73 team GPA followed by the varsity cross country team (3.625)
