Sophia Gorona Named Lacrosse Most Valuable Player

DAVIS, Calif. – Sophomore Sophia Gorona was named the Most Valuable Player of the varsity lacrosse team at the annual banquet held at the Barger Barn on Monday.

Gorona received the TTD award for Troubie Top Dog as the overall Most Valuable Player. Senior Jade Borg was the TAA for Troubie Ambush Award as the Offensive Most Valuable Player and Izabel Quackenbush received the TAA for Troubie Anchor Award as the Defensive Most Valuable Player.

Allie Belafsky was recognized with the Leadership Award also known as the TRE for Troubie Ripple Effect.

St. Francis lost the first round of the North Coast Section Playoffs. Head Coach Julia Southard says goodbye to three seniors including Borg, Rose Conlin and Jorie Keitges.
