Han-Wei leads Troubies in home finale

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Freshman Arden Han-Wei fired a 1-over-par 37 while senior Julia Geer followed just three strokes back, leading St. Francis to a 213-stroke team score in a Delta League girls' golf dual match with Elk Grove at Haggin Oaks Wednesday afternoon.

The Troubadours won by default, as the Thundering Herd only fielded three players – two short of the minimum for a team total.

Olivia Lee carded a 44, while Aja Garcia and Bani Chauhan each finished at 46 to round out the SF team total. Natalie Zipser held the team's No. 6 slot in the order, turning in a 50 score.

All Delta League duals are contested on just nine holes. Tuesday's match took place on the front nine at Haggin's Arcade Creek course, spanning 3,193 yards for a par 36.

Han-Wei continues to lead the Troubies in stroke average, with a nine-hole rate of 35.89.

St. Francis returns to action on Monday in the third and final Delta League Center Tournament at WildHawk Golf Club in South Sacramento. The Troubies placed second and third at the previous center tourneys. The combined places at the three events determine the final Delta League standing.
