Santsche-Chavez made the first team as the lone goalkeeper, while Ferguson garnered recognition on the second team. -

SF to host Cougars for section playoff opener
November 01, 2024SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis has earned a No. 3 seed and will host No. 14-seeded Golden Valley in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II girls’ water polo championship tournament, the section office announced Friday. The tourney opener will take place at American River College on Tuesday, November 5. Game time is 5 p.m. -

August 30, 2024CLOVIS, Calif. – Senior center Abigail Benavidez posted a hat trick in each game while senior Piper Brostrom netted five goals in the nightcap, as St. Francis split its first day of action at the Central Valley Showdown girls’ water polo tournament at Clovis West High School Friday. The Troubadours lost, 9-7, to a late surge by Redwood (Visalia) in their first game, then rolled to a 14-3 victory against Hanford West in the nightcap.
