SACRAMENTO, Calif. — St. Francis High won all three doubles and each of the six singles matches in straight sets in a 9-0 win over Sheldon High in a Delta League girls' tennis dual match at Rio Del Oro Sports Club Tuesday afternoon. Furthermore, the Troubadours celebrated their Senior Day, honoring 2022 graduates Erin Davis, Ella Dichiara, Lauren Lai and Safaa Umar in both prematch and postmatch festivities.

In fact, both Umar and Lai were among the five matches won with "double bagel" 6-0, 6-0 scores. Umar dispatched Angela Le at No. 1 singles while Lai defeated Aishleen Sangha at No. 4.

All three doubles matches were settled by similar 6-0, 6-0 scores. Juliette Irwin and Tatum Walbeck won at No. 1, Allie Dinh and Kavya Benush at No. 2 and Anna Dinh and Arden Garcia at No. 3.

SFHS returns to action with a road match at Davis High on Tuesday, October 19, while hosting its Letters to Dad festivities at Rio Del Oro in the interim on Thursday
