ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Victoria Tateishi and Gabrielle Angove each managed two shots while goalkeeper Jaycee Martinez posted 10 saves as St. Francis' JV Red squad fell to West Park in a non-league, frosh-soph girls' soccer game Friday evening.
The Troubadours slip to 0-8-2 for the year. The Panthers are 4-3-1 overall, having shut out two Sierra Foothill League teams: Rocklin (1-0) and St. Francis (3-0).
Friday's game is the first of a home-and-home series with West Park in 2025-26. The Panthers will visit St. Francis on Friday, January 30, on the eve of JV Gold's and varsity's action in the annual Holy Cup rivalry with Christian Brothers.
All three SF soccer programs return to action on Tuesday for an SFL set at Oak Ridge. JV Red opens at 3:30, varsity follows at 5:30 and JV Gold plays the finale at 7:15 p.m.
