What are you enjoying most about your senior year?
"It is going great and has a great feel. It is fun to be around your friends every day. We want to make it a good year in our last season of high school."
What has it meant to you to be part of the softball program at St. Francis?
"It means a lot to me because it has been where I have met so many good friends. Softball really helped me through high school and has always been a part of my life. It feels good to play for my school."
How has season been going this year?
"I have not been pitching a lot – playing more right field. It has been fun and pitching is still good. I am not trying to think too much at the plate. I want to help my team and step up for the team."
What did you learn on our Kaiser Internship last year?
"I learned a lot about the nursing program. It has really helped me decide what field I want to go into with nursing. I am thinking either neonatal or emergency room."
What is a fun fact about Catie we do not know?
"I have a scar on my right arm where I got bit  from when I was younger."
What do you enjoy about playing outfield?
"I sing to myself out there and it is really peaceful. I like being able to throw people out. People do not think you have a good arm in right field. I like to make good throws."
How does softball help you remember your Dad?
"He definitely pushed me to play softball and is one of the reasons I continued to play for so long is because of him. I know how much he enjoyed seeing me play.
