SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis Catholic High School honored seven senior students who have committed to compete in six different collegiate sports during the spring edition of the 2025-26 College Athletics Commitment celebration Thursday morning.
Alphabetically, the crew of honored Troubadours consisted of Miley Blough, Fresno State (soccer); Jordan Brace, Chapman (cross country, track); Elle Lofing, Pacific Lutheran (lacrosse); Alexis London, Occidental (basketball); Alexis McFarland, San Francisco State (softball); Mia Nelson, UC Santa Cruz (soccer) and Ellie Ow, Biola (soccer). Blough previously took part in the fall ceremony after committing to Nevada, but a coaching change with the Wolf Pack released her from that signing.
During the ceremony held in the school dining hall, SFHS director of athletics Ryan Chisolm also recognized coaches, teachers, guidance counselors and administrators who played a part in the Troubadours' academic, athletic and spiritual growth during their time at the Sacramento area's premier all-girls college prep school.
"Troubadour student-athletes exemplify the highest ideals of the college prep experience: excellence on the athletics fields, accomplishment in the classroom, and service to the community," Chisolm said in his remarks. "I consider the opportunity to honor and celebrate their achievements as one of my highlights every year. It is, by any measure, a privilege for an athletics director."
The spring event serves as the second of two celebrations of future collegiate student-athletes held by the renowned all-girls high school. The fall ceremony, held on the first NCAA signing day on November 12, honored 10 athletes: Blough, Izzie Barge, Yale (softball); Sara Ellis, UC Davis (lacrosse); Tatum Hall, Tennessee (rowing); Marissa Jensen, Cal State San Marcos (softball); Chloe Johnson, Biola (volleyball); Keira Miles, Denver (lacrosse); Julia Nielsen, Webster (softball); Marissa Ow, Saint Mary's (soccer); and Holland Sperber, Houston Christian (soccer).

FRESNO STATE • SOCCER
Two-time All-Sierra Foothill League first-team selection and team Offensive MVP... Finished career with 29 goals and 28 assists in three varsity seasons, including league bests of 16 goals and 38 points as a senior... Helped team to 15-6-4 overall record and Sac-Joaquin Section quarterfinal berth... Also led Troubadours and SFL in goals (9), assists (11) and total points (29) as a junior... Previously helped Troubadours to SJS and NorCal region championships in 2023... Scored four goals while tying Mia Barsotti with team-high 11 assists that year... Led JV Gold squad in goals (19), assists (14) and total points (52) as a freshman, earning team MVP honors... Also earned all-tourney and won Balon D'Or award at 2022-23 Inderkum Invite, despite St. Francis JV playing in an all-varsity bracket... Plays club ball for San Juan SC... Earned U18/19 Northern California All-Conference first-team acclaim in 2024-25... Has made honor roll in every semester as a Troubie.

Competed all four years in both cross country & track & field... Enjoyed three significant wins in cross country: Div. 3-5 junior varsity 5K at the Sac-Joaquin Subsections in 2024, junior varsity 2-mile at Lagoon Valley Classic in 2025 and Div. 4-6 JV 5-kilometer at the 46th Clovis Invitational in 2025... Through April 24, holds track & field personal records of 2:41.36 (800m), 5:45.67 (1,600m) and 12:11.49 (3,200m), set at three different meets during senior season... Volunteered with All About Equine Animal Rescue, Bayside Church, and Growth Public Schools; will participating in St. Francis' Guardian Angel Peer Team, Ambassador and Big Sister programs... Plans on majoring in psychology at Chapman.

Played three years with St. Francis JV lacrosse before making varsity team in 2026... Primarily played at low defender for both levels... Posted 10 ground balls with three caused turnovers as a junior... Four-year member of school's Model UN program, serving as team captain for last two... Volunteers with St. John's Lutheran Church, for which she is active in the youth group... Will major in nursing with a minor in Spanish at PLU.

Batted .416 in 2024, eighth-best by a sophomore in SF's MaxPreps history (2005-present)... Plays travel ball with Mojo Pikas 18U squad... Volunteered as St. Francis softball camp coach every summer, also served with Rancho Cordova Police Athletic League...
