January 29, 2026GRASS VALLEY, Calif. – Sophomore Emmelyn Cheatham drained a pair of three-pointers as part of a team-leading 10 points for JV Gold while freshman Sadie Favreau matched that long-range work en route to nine points for JV Red, but both St. Francis sub-varsity squads posted losses in two different towns Thursday night. Gold fell at Whitney in Sierra Foothill League play by a 57-28 final, while Red fielded exactly five players in a 43-18 loss at Nevada Union.
