FOLSOM, Calif. – Junior Audrey Bashore posted a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead St. Francis JV Gold to a 41-35 win over host Vista Del Lago on Day 2 of the Folsom-Vista Winter Classic girls' basketball tournament Friday night.

The Troubadours improve to 7-0 overall and advance to Saturday's 1:30 p.m. title game against Lodi.

Bashore, who also led her team with three assists and three steals, shot 7 of 18 from the floor and 5 of 6 from the free-throw line. She won the team's "Hard Hat" award for her overall performance. Sophomores Saihej Sekhon and Catherine Gustafson added six and four points, respectively, with Gustafson pulling down nine boards.

This is the second meeting between the Troubies and Vikings in the month of December alone. SF won the previous matchup, 47-31, as part of an overall home tripleheader on December 2. 

Also competing in the Winter Classic was SF's JV Red, which suffered a 44-11 loss against Holy Hoops rival Christian Brothers. No other information is available. The Troubies open Saturday's slate with a 9 a.m. contest with Nevada Union, then will be paired with a corresponding opponent from the opposite round-robin pool.
