Hamm, Smith to represent Troubie in NorCal all-star game
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis attacker Olivia Hamm and midfielder Zia Smith each earned appearances on the Blue squad at the fourth-annual NorCal Lacrosse Girls' High School Senior All-Star Game, held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Menlo-Atherton High School.

Hamm, who committed to play at Lynn University, finished the 2025 season with 16 goals and 22 assists while adding 17 caused turnovers, 42 draw controls and a team-leading 35 ground balls. Smith, headed to compete at Colorado Mesa, posted 45 goals with 10 assists on offense, with 25 GBs, 15 CTs and a team-best 62 DCs among her "hustle stats." As a team, the Troubadours went 11-5, finishing third (10-4) in their first year as Sierra Foothill League members then reaching the semifinal round of the Sac-Joaquin Section tournament.

Hamm and Smith are among nine players from the SFL to earn berths in the game. Rocklin's Megan Williamson will join them on the Blue team, while Davis' Katie McMullen and Oak Ridge's Caitlin Beckman, Kaley Gunning, Tori Ross, Shayla Takkkunen and Annika Tanner will provide familiar faces on the White team.

Inaugurated in 2022, the gala event features girls' high school, boys' high school, plus 12U and 14U girls' and boys' games. The event serves as a fundraiser for the NorCal LAX Stick Loaner Program, which provides loaner equipment to help introduce younger players to the game; and the NorCal LAX Hall of Fame, which honors players, coaches, administrators and contributors to the sport. 2024 graduate Brynley Hodge, now a midfielder at Xavier, was the first Troubie to participate in the NorCal LAX all-star game.
