SENIOR CELEBRATIONS: Lacrosse’s Grace Barger

SENIOR CELEBRATIONS: Lacrosse’s Grace Barger

Grace is a two-sport standout who was a four-year letter winner in Lacrosse. She was the recipient of the HammerHead Award as a sophomore and earned All Sacramento valley Lacrosse League honors. She had scored 75 goals heading into this season.

"Grace is the perfect teammate and leader. She is one of the most competitive people I've ever met, but she never lets that get in the way of her true character. She cares deeply about her teammates, and that shows in every little thing that she does.  She has the perfect balance of fire and fun. She makes the people around her better. Her pure presence on the field forces everyone to step up and go harder. Grace has had a huge impact on the field for us as well, notching goals, assists, caused turnovers, draw controls, and ground balls. She's a workhorse through and through and was relied upon to play every minute for us as a midfielder.  Grace accepts pressure as a privilege, and because of that, she will be very successful at whatever she chooses to do in life." – Head Coach Julia Southard

"GB is one of the best teammates I've ever had. I was so lucky to have her for soccer and lacrosse. She is such an amazing natural leader and captain and I've learned so many things from her on and off the field. Gracie grace is the most outgoing person and always welcomes in everyone. She is one of the big reasons why our lacrosse team is more like a family. I'm so happy and lucky I got to play with her for 3 years and The team and I are going to miss her so much next year." - Junior Maggie Price
