Q&A with Haanya Niazi

Coming off matches against Pleasant Grove and Elk Grove how do you feel you played?

" I think I played really well. I had some really good shots. Overall I am really proud of our team as a whole."

What are you most looking forward to getting deeper into the season?

"One of my favorite parts of the golf team is getting to know everyone. Playing with people from all the grades is really a special thing. I am definitely looking forward to spending time with my senior friends, and having it be one of the best seasons yet!"

How do you prepare for a match (mentally)?

"Just taking a second to relax and take some deep breaths slowing your head down a little bit. I go to the range hit some shots, putt a little, some short game and all that chipping."
