NATOMAS, Calif, - Sophomore Alyssa Harmon scored the only goal of the game off an assist by Micaela Romo to propel the St. Francis junior varsity gold team to the title at the Inderkum Varsity Invitational.

The win completed a perfect weekend for the team without giving up a goal with wins over Grant (3-0), West Valley (5-0), Pioneer (2-0) and Chico and improve the team to 5-0 on the season.

Four players were named to the All-tournament team including Mika Shinoda, Sofia Bacsafra, Mia Sullivan and Caroline Murdoch. Shinoda had a goal against Pioneer and assist vs. Grant, while Bacsafra tallied two goals (West Valley, Pioneer) and two assists. Sullivan had two goals against West Valley and Murdoch anchored the defense that posted four shutouts.

St. Francis hosts McClatchy on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Cristo Rey HS.
