    ELK GROVE, Calif. – The St. Francis-Elk Grove junior varsity game was canceled due to the ongoing lack of umpires in the Sac-Joaquin Section, but the two teams played an exhibition. Taylor Lewis and Layla Werner each had multi-hit games, but the Herd scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to erase the Troubies' comeback in the top half of the frame.
