October 24, 2023STOCKTON, Calif. – Senior Elizabeth Barger posted two interceptions and three total pass breakups, senior receiver Caitlin Hafenstein scored two touchdowns and senior Emma Karamanoukian completed nine of her first 11 passes as St. Francis briefly held an 18-14 lead, but No. 5-seeded St. Mary scored a go-ahead touchdown five minutes into the second half en route to a 36-18 win over the 12th-seeded Troubadours in the first round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II girls' flag football tournament Tuesday night.

SF draws Rams to launch inaugural SJS playoffs
October 20, 2023SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis was awarded the 12th seed and will face fifth-seeded St. Mary’s in the first round of the inaugural Sac-Joaquin Section Division II flag football playoffs, the governing body announced Friday. The game takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Sanguinetti Field in Stockton.

Triebwasser named inaugural SF flag football coach
July 18, 2023SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Already a familiar face within the St. Francis community, Melissa Triebwasser becomes the Catholic college preparatory school’s inaugural head flag football coach, director of athletics Ryan Chisolm announced. Triebwasser currently serves as the school’s digital media manager, and previously held the post as the Troubadours’ head junior varsity basketball coach.
