Title: Head Diving Coach

Amy Kay, formerly Amy Crayne, returned to St. Francis in 2025-26 to take over the helm of the Troubadour diving program.

Arguably the most successful diver in SF history, Kay earned team MVP all four years, garnering three NISCA All-America awards, two all-city honors and Sac-Joaquin Section titles as a freshman and junior. She set school records for a six-dive dual meet (290.76) and 11-dive championship format (494.40) during her career. Kay went on to dive for Western Kentucky, where she earned Conference USA Freshman of the Year; and Azusa Pacific, at which she snared All-America distinction and two Diver of the Meet plaudits at the Pacific College Swimming Conference Championships. She graduated from the latter institution with a degree in sociology in 2021.

Kay, who coached at Capital Divers during and after her collegiate career, served as head coach at Occidental, La Verne and APU. In 2026, she was named as the successor to her mother, Dede Crayne, who retired after 25 seasons with St. Francis, Christian Brothers, Jesuit, El Camino and Capital Divers.
