Alumna Jackie Coleman ‘13 will begin her first season on the St. Francis swimming staff in 2019, serving as an assistant coach.
Coleman served as an assistant swimming coach for the Sacramento Stringrays Swim team from 2011-15. She also has experience in lifeguarding. Coleman worked as a lifeguard (2011-15) at Greenhaven Cabana Club North and was the head lifeguard from 2014-15. She also worked for the Rio Del Oro Racquet Club in 2011.
She was named the Most Valuable swimmer while at St. Francis and was also the Red Team Captain in 2013. Coleman was a part of the swimming club for Creighton University in 2014 and later swam competitively for Sacramento City College in 2015.
In fall of 2015, Coleman graduated from Sacramento City College with an Associate in Science degree and later graduated from Sacramento State University in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. She was a three-time selection to the Dean’s list at CSUS and was named to the President’s Honors at Sac City in the Fall of 2015.
She works as an analyst for the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
