SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The St. Francis basketball program earned a playoff berth in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I bracket and will host Inderkum on Monday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. The Troubadours are the No. 16 seed while Inderkum (13-13) is the No. 17 seed.
The game is a rematch from the Roseville Elite Classic in December. Junior Mia Fleming-Mullins had 23 points and 11 rebounds as St. Francis posted a 57-48 comeback victory over Inderkum. St. Francis got a strong performance from senior guard Lauren Pank, who scored eight points to go with seven assists, six rebounds and four steals. Senior teammate Nika Bagatelos added 12 points on four three-pointers, while senior Megan Austin contributed five rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block.
St. Francis is playing in the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs for the ninth consecutive season. The Troubadours reached the section finals in 2015-16 and have won eight section titles in school history.
The winner of the St. Francis-Inderkum game will travel to top seed Bear Creek (24-4) in Stockton on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Tickets for Monday's playoff game are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Sports Passes are not eligible for use for playoff game.
